The gas pressurization stimulation culture device from STREX is a system consisting of a dedicated pressure chamber and a controller. The chamber is pressurized at the pressure set by the controller. Since the gas in both the incubator and the chamber is replaced, pressurized stimulation culture can be performed under incubator conditions. Flexcell's Flex Jr. allows for the cultivation of cells seeded on a dedicated soft bottom plate (BioFlex) by stretching them under vacuum pressure from a vacuum pump, providing mechanical stretch stimulation to the cells. With dedicated computer software, stimulation protocols and waveforms can be easily set, enabling the circular culture surface to be stretched 360 degrees, thus providing stimulation that is very close to in vivo conditions. Features: - Compatible with dedicated 6-well and 24-well plates - Stretchable up to 21.8% (up to 33% without using Loading Posts) - The higher model FX-6000T can use 4 plates simultaneously (up to 8 plates with additional baseplate) - The FX-6000T also allows for uniaxial stretching using a uniaxial stretch plate (UniFlex)
